How do I apply?

The application for More Than A Grad serves as a common application. Your completed profile (accepted application) will be used to match you with all the opportunities that will advance your education and career goals. We will keep your application on file for one year. Go to the Student Application Page for more information

How often should I apply?

We will keep your application on file for one year. Re-apply with an updated profile every year.

When are applications due?

We have a rolling deadline. We accept applications year-round. We encourage you to apply at least 6 months before you want to work an internship. Most internships will take place in the summer. It is recommended to complete your application in November prior to the summer of the internship.

How will I know you have received my application?

After you upload your completed application, it will be reviewed by our team. You will receive an email notification when your application is received and another communication when it is reviewed.

What should I expect when completing the application?

The application consists of multiple sections:

  • Background Information

  • Education

  • Previous Schools Attended

  • Educational Endeavors

  • Academic and Career Programs

  • Extracurricular Activities

  • Volunteer and Paid Positions (include summer employment)

  • Essays (5 required and 1 optional)

The application may take more than several hours. Please give yourself ample time to complete the application.

What documents do you require?

You will be required to upload the application and your unofficial transcripts for your application to be considered. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Go to the Student Application Page for more information. *Once you are hired for the internship, your employer will require additional documentation.

Should I apply if I am not a US Citizen?

Some internships will be restricted to US citizens, while others will be open to non-citizens, DACA students, and undocumented students.
